Alesa Belvedere

Having been in the Real Estate Industry for over a decade, I understand first hand how every community directly contributes to Local, State and National economies. It is critical that our Cities and Town governments foster excellence in education, stable development and a strong sense of community. I believe each of us who enjoy the blessings and privileges we do in this amazing State should be involved. I am dedicated to working and serving our residents and the Stakeholders of Westlake. I am committed to ensure we maintain a proper balance of development opportunities which enhance revenues and ensure the continued success of our municipally owned Westlake Academy. Endeavoring always to protect the beautiful open spaces we have come to love and appreciate.

Born in Abingdon, Virginia in 1963 - attended Queens College in Charlotte, NC. Previously employed in the Airline Industry with Eastern Airlines in Atlanta, Delta Airlines in Dallas TX, retired in 1993. Being an entrepreneur at heart launched a new career path in Real Estate as Realtor/Broker in 2003 while living in the Carolinas. I was fortunate to became an Owner/ Partner of a highly successful National Real Estate Franchise before returning to Texas in 2007. Family and Community Happily married for 27 years to Joseph Belvedere. Joe is a Captain with United Airlines and a native Texan. We have one son, also a proud native Texan, who is a 2014 Westlake Academy Graduate and now in his second year of College. We relocated to the Carolina’s in 1999 from Texas for eight years but those strong Texas roots drew us back in 2007. Having watched our son thrive in a British IB School in Charlotte, IB education became our top priority. After a tour of Westlake Academy we knew the search was over and we had found our new home. I have been privileged to serve our community as a volunteer at Westlake Academy, Comprehensive Plan Committee member and a Planning and Zoning Commissioner prior to serving as a Council Member 2014-2016.

Vision For Westlake

My vision is that Westlake would be community that people passionately call home, highly desire to do business and our children look forward to returning.
